  Extremely slow...was left in the Dr office for over 20 mins. All I have is a fever or some type of flu. Nurses are constantly talking instead of helping the sick ppl in the lobby. This should have taken 1 hour tops, took them 2 & a half hours to get me in n out. Zero urgency among staff. Front desk was helpful.

  I was seeing a Banner internist for the past 6 yrs and she left banner. I went to Dr Now last month to establish care with Brook Allen FNP-C for primary care. I received my mammogram order I needed refills but I had meds to cover me 6 weeks. I called 2 weeks to get refills on asthma meds cholesterol and high blood pressure called again this past week and was told if I needed refills I needed to go back to the dr that ordered the medication. I filed a complaint with my insurance company and comes tomorrow the medical board. I will be out of meds by Tuesday. I would understand if I was a drug seeker , seeking pain meds. For urgent care God forbid you have a breathing problem. I don’t recommend this establishment to anyone.

  Things started off great at this office. I changed to this doctor because I have to take my father into his appointments as he no longer drives and their extended hours were perfect -- I don't have to take time off from work. My BIG MISTAKE was allowing their staff to draw blood for my annual physical exam in February rather than asking for an order to take to Sonora Quest where they know what they are doing. The idiot had absolutely NO IDEA what he was doing, stuck me multiple times before he finally got blood to start flowing - then it stopped! At that point he removed the needle, asked someone else to come in to draw my blood from the other arm. A couple days later, I started experiencing extreme pain in my left elbow - where he had stuck me several times. At first I thought it may just be bruising from the multiple sticks and tried to ignore it - but the pain got continually worse and I went back into be checked. The doctor said it was probably Phlebitis and gave me an antibiotic and sent me home. A week later - no better and in fact getting worse. I went BACK in and asked if they thought it could be a blood clot so they ordered an ultrasound. That showed no clots, so I went BACK in and they ordered a CT scan due to the fact that ice and heat seemed to help relieve the pain temporarily. That scan showed a foreign object in my arm, so I went to see a specialist who took x-rays and said although the piece of metal was in my arm below my elbow, that the multiple sticks could have irritated the tendon that goes from the wrist up to the inner elbow and that was most likely causing the pain. He gave me a cortisone shot which has helped stop the pain I was experiencing, but we don't know how long that will last. Point is - Since I have to pay my deductible up front - I ended up paying a lot of money in EXTRA DOCTORS VISITS, ULTRASOUND, CT SCAN, SPECIALIST, etc. ALL BECAUSE THE MORON THEY HAD TRYING TO DRAW MY BLOOD WAS TOTALLY INCOMPETENT!!! Had I just gone to Sonora Quest none of this money would have had to be spent - hundreds of dollars -- all because of them. I will be looking at another location to try out since it works better in my schedule, but in the meantime -- STAY CLEAR OF THE SAN TAN VALLEY LOCATION!!!!
